An immersion in the history of the Golden Islands that begins with the legend of Prince Olbianus and his four daughters… The era of piracy and its famous figures. Then comes the military period with the establishment of forts, then the 1963th century, the private owners, and in particular the Henry family who made Port-Cros the island of writers, and allowed the creation of the Port-Cros National Park in XNUMX. The Park's missions and the measures to preserve the environment will be discussed.

Departing from Bormes-les-Mimosas, the O₂ takes its passengers to discover the island of Port-Cros. With a capacity of 50 passengers, this hybrid boat offers gentle navigation, without noise, without CO₂ emissions. The O₂ approaches the eastern part of the island, via the wild bay of Port-Man. Then, silently in turquoise waters, it skirts its rugged and wild contours. During the cruise, the captain comments on the landscapes that were inhabited by the Romans, then by pirates who made it their lair. Finally, he lists the different episodes that led to the acquisition of the island by the State and the creation of the National Park.
