At the foot of the Maures massif, with its feet in the water facing the Hyères Islands, the Domaine du Rayol is a protected natural area owned by the Conservatoire du littoral since 1989.
In addition to its 13 hectares of scrubland, the Estate has 7 hectares of gardened areas, created by landscaper Gilles Clément: The Mediterranean Garden, an invitation to travel through the Mediterranean landscapes of the world (California, Chile, South Africa, Australia, the Canaries, the Mediterranean basin) and landscapes with a more arid or subtropical climate (Mexico, New Zealand, Asia, subtropical America).
