Hiking on the coastal path, commonly called “Sentier des douaniers”, offer a range of varied landscapes. Taking it means discovering wild coves, walking along wine estates and enjoying panoramas of the Porquerolles Islands and Fort Brégançon. Several portions are available to you, take your pick!
Hiking our coastline is the best way to find a secret beach even in the middle of summer!

On the Favière side
In order to travel this side, you will need to head to the right when you are facing the sea on the Favière beach. You follow the coast and enjoy breathtaking views of the Bormes Bay. You also discover small inaccessible beaches. At the bend of the creeks and coves, the path will take you to the cap blanc, at the extreme south of the town. Here, you will have to turn around and retrace your steps. The section that continues beyond is currently being studied and restored. We recommend 4 hours to complete it, round trip, and it has little difference in altitude. The restaurant on the small beach of Bénat is only open during the summer season and is often full.
On the Cabasson side
For the second, you will have to go to another district of Bormes: Cabasson. Located 8 kilometers from La Favière, take your vehicle then park at CaPaLo parking (paid from April to October). Once on the beach and facing the sea, you can see the Fort Brégançon on your left. You can get closer by following a mini path (500 meters) on the left, but you will have to turn around at Brégançon beach. Then on the other side, following Cabasson beach to the right, this is where you start the coastal path towards La Londe. You will enjoy many fine sandy beaches, like the beach of theEstagnol or that of Pellegrin throughout your randonnée You can also, if you wish, do the hike in the other direction, starting from Argentière beach in the neighboring town of La Londe. We recommend a 6 to 7 hour walk, round trip, with little difference in altitude. You will find restaurants at Cabasson beach, Estagnol beach and Pellegrin beach.
