Conference – Henri Rivière and the Noufflard family, story of an artistic friendship.
Henri Rivière died in Sucy en Brie in 1951 at the home of Florence Halévy and Henriette Noufflard Guy Loet. The parents, André and Berthe Noufflard, both painters, welcomed H. Rivière and his wife into their various homes. André painted on location with Rivière, filmed him with his family and at work. Berthe made portraits of him from a very young age. This very strong bond made them share a thousand things to the point that Geneviève (their 2nd daughter and Rivière's goddaughter) donated Rivière's studio collection to the BnF.

Isabelle Gadoin Latreyte, who will lead this conference, is a member of the Historical and Archaeological Society of Sucy en Brie where H. Rivière died.
