Marc INGOGLIA began working on LE POLYMERE over 20 years ago, using its impermeability to focus on the theme of the “trace” left by natural pigments when they are deposited there, and its transparency to amplify the improbability of his images.
A colorist above all, he creates his own colors in a universe mixing abstraction and suggestion.
This process amplifies the depth but above all gives the image a reading which serves the aesthetic purpose of the artist by integrating the use of light passing through the material.
Marc INGOGLIA quickly shaped his favorite material to respond to the desire to create objects, characters or abstract forms.
