Celebrate Hanami at MHAB!
Hanami is a famous festival in Japan that welcomes spring and the cherry blossoms.
Hanami (花見 / はなみ literally, "flower watching") is the traditional Japanese custom of appreciating the beauty of flowers, especially cherry blossoms (Sakura). Nowadays, hanami can also be summed up as enjoying this season by picnicking, chatting, and singing under the cherry blossoms.

On the occasion of the Night of Museums, the MHAB offers you a program around this theme and invites you to enjoy a moment out of time:

15 p.m.: Guided family tour of the “Henri Rivière” exhibition

16 p.m.: Aikido (Japanese martial art) demonstration

16:30 p.m.: Snack in the Garden and family activities around Japan (coloring, origami, etc.)
