The Provence wine route in Bormes les Mimosas… Just reading this makes your mouth water, doesn’t it? 😛 We have 2 wine routes in the area: one that runs along the sea side, and one which goes from the Bormes plain to the Massif des Maures. Our vineyards are mainly renowned for their quality rosés, with fruity flavors and a refreshing character, but you can also find what you are looking for in terms of red and white wine. Domaine de la Sanglière
Un breathtaking decor, where the vines, rocked by the sea air, have been flourishing since the dawn of time. At the foot of a salmon-coloured country house, vines arranged in straight rows who descend into single file towards the sea, and deliver refined wines, from the passion of a man. During your visit to this 42 ha estate run by the Devictor family, you will feel thewarm and family atmosphere which lasts. Enjoy a summer evening for aperitif on the heights of the estate, with a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea.
Château Léoube
Le Leoube castle is one of our areas that stands out for its commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly practices in the production of its wines. The estate strives to preserve the biodiversity and ecological balance of the region using methods of organic and biodynamic cultures. With a amazing views on the sea and the surrounding hills, enjoy the outdoor activities present on the estate. Brégançon Castle
Le Brégançon Castle was built at the beginning of the 18th century, on an old Marquisat, whose Fort, today the presidential residence, was the stronghold. The vines are grown on a clayey-siliceous soil benefiting from a microclimate and maritime entries, bringing to the wines un subtle character. To maintain its level of requirement and perpetuate its level of excellence, the Château de Brégançon has converted toOrganic farming. The title of “Cru Classe” elevates the wines of Château de Brégançon to the rank of the most recognized in theCôtes de Provence appellationThe estate mainly produces red and rosé wines as well as white wines high quality, which are often considered as prestige wines. Due to its history and picturesque location, the estate is also a tourist attraction popular for tours and wine tastings.
Malherbe Castle
At the seaside Mediterranean sea, Malherbe Castle is a 60 ha property, comprising two exceptional terroirs very different from each other.
- Terroir Pointe du Diable is housed in seafront and composed of multiple plots under the strong maritime influenceThis terroir made up of ancient alluvium, dotted with quartz shards, gives rise to wines with an iodized touch and a very beautiful one balance between fruit and acidity, bringing them a beautiful freshness.
- Terroir Malherbe is clinging to the hillsides of Cap Bénat on brown clay-schist soilThe climate and the nature of this soil make it possible to harvest concentrated berries who give full-bodied and complex wines : perfect match with a gourmet dish. The unique characteristics of the Malherbe terroir, and more particularly the presence of schist, bring minerality and a very beautiful one aromatic balance.
“La Malherbe” was for centuries the Fort de Brégançon farm, planted in mixed farming (vines and a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, cereals). THE orchard-vegetable garden remember this noble and peasant past just like the well of Roman origin, which attests to agriculture on these lands for more than 2000 years. The estate is in quasi-organic viticulture since 1940 and today in biodynamic agriculture (Demeter certification since 2021).
Domain of the Grand Batailler
Le Domain of the Grand Batailler is a wine estate that has remained in the same family for several centuries, where we collect good wines and old objects having a soul. The Domaine du Grand Batailler adjoins the campsite of the same name, ideally located on the heights of Bormes. Maurice Courty and his family operate a two-thousand-year-old vineyard.
Château Angueiroun
With a total area of 120 ha, the Château Angueiroun enjoys a exceptional terroir : vines planted on hillsides are oriented towards the rising sun, close to the Mediterranean Sea towards the bay of Bormes and Lavandou on shale soils, rich in mica, quartz and clayey-sandy. The climate is Mediterranean type whose unique conditions give rise to a elegant, fine, powerful wine : a concentrate of all the wild beauty of a magical place… It is classified in PDO Côtes de Provence, AOP Côtes de Provence La Londe with typical wines teaming up body, finesse, character and highly appreciated by connoisseurs.
Noyer Estate – Clos Mistinguett
The Domain Clos Mistinguett, located in the Maures massif, mainly produces rosé and red wines as well as white wines, which are appreciated for their freshnessTheir fruity and their balancedThe Clos Mistinguett estate is known for its respect for the local wine tradition and for its use of typical grape varieties of the region, which allows it to produce authentic wines reflecting the characteristics of the terroir. Field of Campaux
On the flanks of the Massif of the Moors, a field that today sees life through rose-tinted glasses... It produces nice whites and pleasant reds. But these are the roses who, today, make the reputation of the Domaine des Campaux. Of fine wines, complex, out of fashion, who seduce the palate by speaking the language of the land. The wines of Field of Campaux are produced under theAOC Côtes de Provence according to an environmentally friendly approach, preserving flora and fauna the vines enjoy a grassing of the rows, allowing to produce a natural green fertilizer associated with a mechanical work without herbicideThe vineyard, spread over an area of 34 hectares, benefits from a southern exposure ideal. The vines are planted on shallow shale soils. The soils are worked mechanically, without herbicide and the area is in conversion organic since 2018.
Sainte-Marie Estate
