Christian Levett, an art collector for nearly 30 years, is behind this ambitious project. He has already acquired more than 600 works by women artists and continues to constantly enrich his collection. This will allow a regular rotation of the works exhibited, offering an unprecedented museum experience in the south of France.
Among the great names in art history, the FAMM exhibits works by Berthe Morisot, Mary Cassatt, Leonora Carrington, Joan Mitchell, Alice Neel, Marina Abramovic, Frida Kalho, Tracey Emin, Jenny Saville, Sarah Lucas, Lee Krasner, … as well as many leading emerging artists.
