The Asian Arts Museum houses collections of Asian arts presented by geographic origin. The majority of the museum's pieces come from bequests to the city of Toulon.
Housed in the Villa Jules Verne, which was occupied by Jules Verne's son and grandson, the museum presents collections acquired in China, Japan, Tibet, Mongolia and India by French collectors, often sailors. Toulon, and which were bequeathed to the City of Toulon. Temporary exhibitions are also presented on the ground floor.
