Musée des Beaux-Arts / MBA

The Museum of Fine Arts is a place that you want to visit and revisit.
Far from the dusty image of the museums of yesteryear, this museum is an integral part of the city as a true cultural economic asset, a flagship of the city and the region.
The city of Draguignan has undertaken the complete renovation of its Museum of Fine Arts. Entrusted to the architectural agency Brochet-Lajus-Pueyo, this project aims to make this museum a heritage and tourist showcase for the city and the region.

A MUSEUM MODELED AS A CABINET
The idea and term of curiosity occupy a central place in the new museum. They refer to the appetite of both the scholar and the visitor for knowledge and discovery.

AN EXCEPTIONAL COLLECTION
The collection of the Museum of Fine Arts combines paintings, sculptures and art objects from the 17th to the 20th century, archaeological objects and naturalized specimens. The new tour highlights this diversity, while proposing visit scenarios to demonstrate its coherence.
