Parfumerie Galimard

Jean de GALIMARD, Lord of SERANON, related to the Count of Thorenc, lived in GRASSE where he created the PARFUMERIE GALIMARD in 1747.
Founder of the corporation of glove-makers and perfumers, he supplied the Court of King Louis “Le Bien-Aimé” with olive oils, ointments and perfumes, of which he was the inventor of the first formulas.

For over 264 years, PARFUMERIE GALIMARD has continued the tradition of its illustrious founder and perpetuated the processes that have made its products famous.
Perfumer – Creator of Perfumes in the purest French tradition, GALIMARD has managed to remain an entirely family-run House and make craftsmanship a source of contemporary creativity.

You are cordially invited to come and learn the secrets and manufacturing techniques during a free guided tour of our Factories.
Perfume creation workshops are also offered at the Galimard Fragrances Studio.

Fun and friendly, the visits are open to all, all day long, with or without reservation, 365 days a year, for groups and individuals.
Traditional factory in the World Capital of Perfumes: under the guidance of our hostess guides, you will discover our superb collection of museum pieces and old machines.
During the visit to our laboratories and our packaging rooms, the origins of perfumery will be traced for you and the methods of extraction of aromatic raw materials, flowers, plants and fragrant woods will be explained to you.
You will also discover the organ of this “composer” of Perfumes that we call the “Nose”: this is where some of its secrets will even be revealed to you! The presentation of the sublime palette of the Perfumer will allow you to discover the precious materials that compose our Perfumes and to reveal your olfactory personality.
At the end of this visit, you will finally be able to stroll through our sales rooms, where our vast range of high-quality products is offered to you at real factory prices: Perfumes and Eau de Toilette, Eau de Cologne, soaps, cosmetics, bath and home lines, scented gift ideas, etc.
