Established in Bormes-les-Mimosas since their founding in 1981, the Cavatore nurseries are dedicated to introducing and acclimatizing new and unusual species from the vast botanical diversity of the Acacia genus (the botanical name for mimosa). Their "collector's" mimosas are produced through grafting, seedling propagation, and layering. Cavatore nurseries have become the leading French producer and seller of mimosa, offering over 200 different species and varieties. In 2012, the family business continued with Julien, who also specialized in rare plants and low-maintenance Mediterranean plants, particularly those from Australia, South Africa, and the Americas.
Cavatore Nurseries welcomes you to its 1000 m² greenhouse, which houses a mimosa arboretum and a display garden where you can admire the diversity of mimosas and Mediterranean plants in their natural habitat.
