With this in mind, the Tourist Office is joining forces with SeeOnSea, which combines technology and environmental commitment to raise public awareness of the richness of marine and terrestrial biodiversity.

A platform to explore, observe and protect

SeeOnSea is a collaborative platform that allows everyone – divers, walkers, nature enthusiasts or simply the curious – to share and consult observations of the fauna, flora and natural phenomena observed in the region.

 You can :

  • View real-time geolocated observations of biodiversity.
  • Contribute by sharing your own discoveries, publicly or privately.
  • Access explanatory sheets to better understand the species or habitats encountered.

This interactive map also offers events and actions in our region, popular scientific articles, scientific marine missions, and even alerts and warnings.

Thanks to SeeOnSea, explore the richness of the Bormese coast from your mobile or computer: locate areas where you can observe dolphins, whales, or mother-of-pearl, follow seasonal migrations or learn to identify sensitive species to be preserved.

It is an invitation to rediscover our natural heritage by adopting a respectful and responsible approach, in line with our local commitment to sustainable tourism and reasoned coastal management.

All collected data is pooled and shared with the National Inventory of Natural Heritage (INPN), ensuring its scientific value. You can thus consult both observations verified by scientists and those of amateur users, who participate in a collective environmental monitoring process.
