Bormes the Mimosas

From Monday 23 to Sunday 29 September 2024, Bormes les Mimosas invites you to celebrate the beauty of Var nature during Nature Week. This event offers you the opportunity to discover or rediscover the breathtaking landscapes of Bormes through thematic hikes.

Whether you are a nature lover, a seasoned athlete, or simply looking for moments of relaxation in the open air, this week is made for you. Suitable for all ages and all levels, it is the perfect opportunity to share unforgettable moments with family, friends or even solo.

The programme

Monday September 23

  • 8:30 am: Guided hike at Col du London. Go on an adventure for a magnificent hike at Col du Landon, supervised by the experienced guide, Hagop. With a 17 km route and a 550 meter elevation gain, this intermediate level hike is ideal for those who like to challenge themselves while enjoying nature. Departure from the village tourist office. Bring: water, picnic, hat, hiking shoes - poles useful. Full day. Free.

Tuesday, September 24

  • 9h30: Guided tour of the Flower Circuit. Dive into a colorful and fragrant journey through the gardens and flowery alleys of Bormes. This morning visit is a true ode to biodiversity and the local art of living.
  • 17h: Guided tour of the coastline. Explore the wild beauty of the Bormes les Mimosas coastline on this guided tour that will introduce you to the hidden treasures of our coast. Learn more about the local flora and fauna while enjoying the breathtaking landscapes.
  • 8:30 a.m. / 8:45 a.m. / 9 a.m. / 13:30 p.m. / 13:45 p.m. / 14 p.m.: Visit to Fort Brégançon
  • 18 a.m. - 20 p.m .: Guided Sensory Immersion with Christine from Medit&Sons – “Afterwork” Forest Baths. After a day of work, come and recharge your batteries in the heart of the forest during this soothing forest bath. A guided sensory immersion that will reconnect you with nature and allow you to gently unwind. Price: €20/person – €30/duo.

Wednesday, September 25

  • 8:30am: Guided hike to Cost Dresh. Gérard will guide you for a half-day hike to Cost Dresh. Departure from the village Tourist Office, for a 7 km adventure with an elevation gain of 300 meters. Prepare yourself with water, a snack, a hat, and hiking shoes; poles are optional. Free.
  • 14 p.m. - 16:30 p.m .: Guided Sensory Immersion with Christine from Medit&Sons – “Children-parents” Forest Bathing. Share a moment of relaxation and discovery with your children (from 7 years old) during this forest bathing session specially designed for families. A great opportunity to create precious memories while exploring nature. Price: €20/person – €30/duo.

With 12 km to cover and a height difference of 200 meters, don't forget to take water, a picnic, a hat, and hiking shoes; poles are also optional. Free.
