Every year, when autumn arrives, wine-growing France prepares for one of the most anticipated events for wine and nature lovers: The Fascinating Vineyard Weekend. The 2024 edition promises once again to thrill epicureans and the curious through unique experiences in the heart of French vineyards. This friendly and immersive event, which will take place from October 17 to 20, will highlight the treasures of wine heritage while celebrating local culture, gastronomy and enchanting landscapes.

An unmissable wine tourism event

Created a few years ago, The Fascinating Weekend quickly established itself as a wine festival, combining taste bud pleasures and discovery of the terroirs. Today it brings together several wine regions, including those of the label Vineyards & Discoveries, a national brand that guarantees exceptional wine tourism experiences.

The programme

Château de Brégançon – Classified Growth

  • Wine tasting (no appointment required): Monday to Saturday. 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. / 14:00 p.m. to 18:00 p.m. Come and discover the emblematic wines of Château de Brégançon directly on site. A friendly moment for wine lovers, no reservation necessary.
  • Guided tour and tasting (by appointment): Monday to Friday. €25 per person | Duration: 1 hour. Discover the history of the estate and the secrets of winemaking, with a guided tour of the stainless steel cellar and the barrel cellar. The visit ends with a comparative tasting of their famous vintages Classified Growth of Provence. Reservation required.

Château Angueiroun – Wine Immersion

  • Cellar visit and gourmet tasting. Thursday 17 October and Friday 18 October at 11am. €35 per person | Duration: 2 hours. Reservation: 04 94 71 11 39 / [email protected]. Experience a unique immersion in the cellars of Château Angueiroun, where you will discover the secrets of winemaking. After the visit, enjoy a guided tasting accompanied by generous platters of local charcuterie and cheese, all on a terrace offering a breathtaking view of the vineyards.

Sanglière Estate – Safari Tour at Sanglière

  • Safari Tour. From Thursday 17 to Sunday 20 October. 1h30 walk in the vineyards | Tasting included. Online booking: Book now. Embark on a unique adventure aboard a retro Land Rover Defender to discover the Sanglière vineyard and its exceptional terroir. The ride will end with a wine tasting, accompanied by Provençal appetizers.

Eden Rose Grand Hotel – Sensory Escape in the Heart of Bormes

  • From Thursday 17 to Sunday 20 October from 18 p.m. to 19 p.m. | Free admission. In the enchanting setting of the Eden Rose Grand Hôtel, enjoy a free tasting of the wines of the Malherbe Castle, in an idyllic setting. Sit in the Roseraie, a bucolic terrace, and savor the wines under the floral scents and the golden light of dusk. The panoramic view of the Golden Islands and the village of Bormes les Mimosas will add a magical touch to this unique experience.

Hôtel de la Plage – Special menu with Léoube food and wine pairings

  • Friday 18 October and Saturday 19 October, evening only. Book an exceptional gastronomic evening at the Hôtel de la Plage, with a menu created by the chef, perfectly paired with the wines Leoube, especially the vintages Secret et Collector.
