De la Normandie au Cap Nègre, revivez en réalité augmentée les événements qui ont fait l'Histoire
The Tuesday 24 September at 10 a.m00
MHAB : Musée d'histoire et d'art de Bormes 103 rue Carnot 83230 Bormes-les-Mimosas
As part of its permanent exhibition, the MHAB invites you to relive in augmented reality the two landings that liberated France in 1944.
As part of its permanent exhibition, the MHAB offers you a unique opportunity to relive in augmented reality the events that took place in Sainte-Mère-Église, usually presented at the Airborne Museum. You'll then step back in time between August 14 and 17, 1944, right in the heart of the Cap Nègre landings.
Don’t miss a new presentation of objects and archives related to these events on the Museum’s 2nd floor.
At the MHAB-Musée d’Histoire et d’Art de Bormes les Mimosas, augmented reality is at the service of history. For the first time, a French museum is offering a permanent exhibition based entirely around its collections and augmented reality.
With a collection of art dating from the end of the 19th century to the present day, as well as local history, the Musée de Bormes offers an immersive journey into the heart of the town’s 2,400-year history.
Using the HistoPad tablet, travel through the ages and discover the strikingly realistic reconstructions. The Histopad, a touch-sensitive tablet, is given to each visitor as they enter the permanent exhibition. Each station, a real window onto a particular period or event, is the fruit of collaboration between the museum’s teams, the Histovery company and specialists in the various periods covered.
With a treasure hunt integrated into the tour, you and your family can travel from the 1st century BC to the present day. In addition to the permanent tour, enjoy temporary exhibitions on art and heritage.
Average duration: 1h15.
