The beach of Gouron is a small and charming cove with beige, slightly grainy sand. It spans 65 meters in length and is situated between the port of La Favière and the larger beach of the neighboring town, Le Lavandou. Nestled beneath a pine forest and surrounded by rocks, its location adds to its originality and creates a cozy atmosphere for a memorable time with family or friends.
A small cove under the pines
To access the beach, you can walk along the small path that runs between the port and the pine forest of La Favière. Alternatively, you can take the concrete path that cuts through the pine forest from the top, marking the beginning of the coastal path leading towards Le Lavandou. The beach is located just below Pointe du Gouron and offers a view of the port’s entrance. Please note that when entering the water, caution is advised as the depth can suddenly increase. Dogs are allowed on the beach, even during the summer months, but they must be kept on a leash while on the sand.
A fitness area with a unique view
Within the Gouron pine forest, you will find outdoor fitness equipment dedicated to sports enthusiasts. What sets this health area apart is the unique view it offers, combining scenic vistas of both the sea and the hill.
