In July 2022, cycling was in the spotlight at the Tourist Office! Our two locations in Favière and the village have received the national label “Accueil Vélo” which rewards and guarantees quality reception along cycling routes for enthusiasts on their journey. Our town has several bike paths, and we offer itineraries in the surrounding areas to discover the territory by bike. Whether you’re a bike traveler, or just want to rent one for a few hours, we can meet your cycling demands!
Exploring Bormes by bike
Cycling in Bormes starts with the main bike path, which is a section of the coastal bike path that runs through a large part of Var for 102 kilometers from Toulon to Saint Raphaël. It follows the ‘train des Pignes’ road, from the entrance of Bormes to the neighboring town of Lavandou. As its name suggests, this road represents the former passage of a railway that ran along the coast. It is a shared path with cars. It is practical because it allows you to cross Bormes by passing through the Pin district. Our two Tourist Offices are equipped with bike repair kits and bike parking right next to them.
